Celebrations and Traditions
4 of December: Festivity of Saint Barbara. Patron of the village, highlighting as central act the traditional “foguera” (fire).
Las week of May: the real celebration par excellence, the festivity of the patron Saint Felipe Neri. The acts and activities of these days are programmed to please all the neighbours and visitors, of all interests and ages. There are open-air concerts, disguise cavalcades, passacaglia, children activities, fireworks displays… The final touch of these celebrations is given by the colour and the joy of the parade of Christians and Moslems.

3rd week of August: the traditional “Sport Week” is held, in which, taking advantage of the facilities of the Municipal Sport Centre, everybody who wishes to participate in the different competitions that are held is welcome.
3rd Sunday of August: “Tourist Party”, Piles dedicates one day every year to its visitors, offering a party for them, where they will be able to enjoy the enthusiasm and joy of the last days of the holidays, with open-air festivals and amusements. .
